Suffering From Abdominal Abnormality. Sonography Done. Anything To Worry?
Hi, I am 24 years Male,
I am suffering from abdominal abnormality since 1.5months.
Sonography says Marks of gaseous found , whereas Abdominal CT SCAN says no significan abnormality.
I had stool test a months ago.
ReportPuss cells 2-4/hpf
Ephitical cell - 1-3/hpf
Rest All Absent
Medication during above treatment
Tab O2, Omex, Rinifol, Maftal Spas.
Later when no relief then Dr changed the medicine to
Tab Mebez (3 days), Taxim o 200mg, Pan 40 (10 days)
Again I did stool test yesterday, results below
Puss cell 1.2hpf
Ephitical cell Absent
Muscus Present
I have stopped taking medicine since coupple of days. Please can you advice if there is any serious issue where I must worry.

Hello there,
Well from the results of your ultrasound and CT scan I do not think you have any serious problem that merits you being worried. You just have a mild GIT upset which is most likely due to an infection. It is most probable that you are suffering from IBS and will require that you have a good lifestyle change like dietary measures, time of eating, increase fluid intake and maybe could be placed on medication for IBS.
You need not worry if there is no evidence of any serious pathology in your abdomen, you will have a normal life expectancy. You will probably be having from time to time some GIT upsets which could come as contipation, diarrhea, stomach ache etc but that can be handled symptomatically.
