Suffering From Arthritis And Fibromyalgia, How To Determine The Type Of Arthritis?

I have been diagnosed with arthritis and fibromyalgia. How do I find out what kind of arthritis I have or does it make a difference?
I am having trouble finding a doctor that treat fibromyalgia. I also have celiac, so I must be careful with medications.
Thanks, dffffe

Hi, thanks for using HCM.

The diagnosis of arthritis will begin with a physical exam by your doctor. Your doctor will also take your medical history and note any symptoms. Make sure to note what makes the pain worse or better to help your doctor determine if arthritis, or something else, may be causing your pain. Also find out if anyone else in your family has arthritis. Your doctor may order additional testing, including:

X-rays,
magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans
Doctors may use blood tests to rule out other conditions that could be causing the pain, such as rheumatoid arthritis, a different type of arthritis caused by a disorder in the immune system.

Hope this helps you.

Regards
