Suffering From Dry Skin Near Vagina. Cause? Medication?
I was just treated for vaginal infection however I start noticing that the area around my vagina gets really dry and it itches. When i scratch it the dry skin falls off like when some one has dry scalp. I am worried doc because the is interrupting my sex life because i am scared to have sex since i don't know what is the cause of this . I would like to know some OTC drug/s that might help real fast.

Dryness is due to antibiotics ,but may be also due to fungal infection.
Triple combination of anti fungal cream with steroid is available as an OTC product .
Please try this.
Ketoconazole tablet is also an OTC product and use 1-2 with water.
Wash effected part with antiseptic soap , use dry towel for dryness , than apply cream twice in day.
5-7 days sufficient to cure.
