Suffering From Epilepsy Since Young Age. Taking Levipil. MRI Scan Done. What Does The Finding Mean?

Hi, I m a 20 year old female. I was suffering from epilepsy since age 13. and i m taking levipil 1000mg twice a day for the past 3 years. My recent MRI scan impression says the following.: Mild prominence of bilateral temporal lobes and choroidal fissures with partial efffacement over the hippocampal heads. Bilateral MTS is likely. Can you pls explain what this means?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really understand your concern and appreciate your move, this kind of findings are very likely for patients having epileptic seizures, but it is nothing to worry, the reports gives the functional positions of brain structures, MTS (Mesial Temporal Sclerosis) stand for some dry changes in brain tissue due to lack of oxygen supply in that area because of fit attack and such effects can be seen in other part of brain which is clear cut indication of having epilepsy, again I say it is nothing to worry at all every thing is okay have nice day.
