Suffering From Gastric Problems, Weight And Stomach Also Increasing. Medications Not Helping

Hello Doctor, i m 25 years old now. i m working in softwere sector. Before some month i v suffered gastric problem with day by day i look my stomach is increase also my weight .what can i do tell me already i had uses many type of medicines consulted by doctos.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

Your job is a stressful one, and stress increases gastric acid secreation, leading to gastritis...peptic ulcer...in your case mostly duodenal ulcer...as you are gaining weight.

As you have tried many medicines, its time now that to get an endoscopy of your upper gi tract done...and get tested for H. pylori infection at the same sitting. If positive...take complete course of antibiotics for the same to get cured.

Till then avoid tea, coffee, spicy foods, soda drinks and stress.
