Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.
I think you are having depression. You should consult psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and management. Doctor, after ruling out physical causes, may advise you to start drugs like anti depressants or may refer you to counselor.

Meanwhile you can do yoga, meditation and stress management for better control over your negative thoughts.

Thanks.

Hello
Welcome to HCM

You are well educated and working as Asst. Professor in a college. You are having problems of loneliness, you are in view that you believe people who are not true to you. People make fool of you. See these things are common in our day to day life. If we are nice to someone it doesn't guarantee that he will be nice to us. You have mentioned that your helping mind is your weakness but this is a good thing. Helping others is a nice thing and you should not be worried about this. Regarding the loneliness and depression if these things are hampering your social and personal life I would advise you to visit a Psychiatrist for evaluation of depression. In a lot of people with mild depression such symptoms may be seen. It can be controlled by simple cognitive therapy and counseling.

Hope it helps you.
Thanks

Hi
Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic
Your problem can be treated with interpersonal psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, social and communicational skill development and other forms of psychotherapy. However a psychiatrist needs to confirm exactly what you are suffering from. Sometimes a thyroid deficiency may present with these symptoms. Medication may also be required depending on the severety of symptoms.
Thanks and regards
