i sprained my ankle in a cheerleading incident (stunt gone wrong) Motrin, Advil, Tylenol all don't seem to help me at all, and during the day, it hurts as it normally would, but at night it gives me a sharp searing pain all night. It prevents me from getting sleep, and it just really hurts and causes alot of discomfort. is there anything i can do to prevent or lessen the pain? thanks! i have been to several doctors to confirm that it's sprained i have an 'aircast' thing that i take off when i sleep and then wrap it in ace bandages
you need an x-ray/MRI to whats wrong on the inside. If the aircast thing is helping you, do not take it off. Take physiotherapy, it will help it to heal faster and manage your pain better.
