Suffering From Throbbing Pain On The Left Knee

Hello, I have a throbbing left knee that is so violent it is preventing me from sleeping. the throbbing is not painful but the skin is twitching visibly on the right side (inside) of my left knee. its fine when i stand but I cant lie down without it starting. please how do I make it stop, I am so tierd

i would suggest you to get x ray of the knee joint and if possible then MRI also so diagnosis can be confirmed. There can be synovitis of the knee. Till you get your investigations, you can take these :
1. Diclofenac gel local application
2. Brufen tablet for pain relief.
3. compression bandage for swelling
4. Avoid squatting and sitting crossleg.
