Suffering From Very Bad Anxiety, On Clonazepam, Remeron Now. Is It Ok To Take Together ?
Hello: I've been suffereing from very bad anxiety. I'm up to 2 1/2 mgs. of clonazepam at bedtime but doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Saw Psychiatrist today and he prescribed remeron at bedtime 7 1/2 mgs. I'm concerned about taking this with the clonazepam although he says it's ok just cut 1/2 mg. of clonazepam. I also take zocar for cholesteral, prevacid, asprin and tylenol for sciatic pain. I live alone and am being cautious. I have 8 stents in my heart and am overweight. I'm 59 , 5ft. and weigh 220lbs. What do you think about spacing some of these meds? Thank you.
The medicines and dozes you are having are apt for the problems you are mentioning. Your psychiatrist is the correct judge of your condition. Secondly, also follow schedule of exercise, proper dieting, breathing exercise, meditation and some yoga techniques. Try some psychotherapy techniques if you can find a psychotherapist / Psychologist. Understand that your anxiety is not without reason. You are supposed to be happy with what you are now. I know it is difficult to follow such life style. But meditation and yoga will help you in that aspect. Get well soon.
