Suffering With Myasthenia Gravis, Used Mineral Oil As Laxative. Losing Control On Bowels. How To Gain Control ?
I have an elderly relative who has Myasthenia Gravis . He has used mineral oil as a laxative for years, and I believe is currently losing control of his bowels. I think it is due to the mineral oil weakening his peristalsis . He claims the MG has weakened his bowels. If he has weakened his system with the mineral oil, is it possible for him to regain bowel control?

The oil has nothing to do for it, it is because of MS, he/she must see her treating physician at once to refer him/her to gastroentrologist for more investigation.
