Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

The possibilities for recurrent or persistent cough and cold can be the following:
- lung problems asthma
- allergy problems like allergic rhinitis
- heart problems like valvular heart disease
- immune deficiency disorders

Azithromycin is an antibiotic and Seroflo inhaler is a broncho-dilator used for the treatment of asthma. From the medication he has been put on it appears that he may be having an asthma psroblem with an added respiratory infection.

It is difficult to pinpoint a specific diagnosis without examining the child or reviewing the test reports. So, I would suggest that you follow the current prescription and follow up regularly with your doctor.

Wish you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Jonas Sundarakumar
