i would like to suggest few things 
be consistent in your doctor and take medicine regularloy in time and modify only in consultation with your prescribing doctor , 
do not change doctor or medicine frequently ,
give some time to medicine to act ,
adopt healthy life style 
few tips are 
salt restriction (4 grams /day )
eat green leafy vegetables , fresh fruits , whole cereals , salads , nuts like almond and walnut , sea fish like salmon ,tuna 
avoid fatty ,fried , oily ,junk food 
restrict salt intake 
avoid backary items , sweets , red meat ,
say big NO to any addiction ,
take proper rest , 
do 
stress relaxing yogas .
