Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Dear patient, the condition you are suffering from is known as hyperthyroidism. In this condition, there is an increased production of thyroid hormones in the body, this increases your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and causes weight loss and weakness, that is the cause of your weakness. Inderal is a commonly prescribed drug in hyperthyroidism as it controls symptoms like tremors, palpitations, nervousness etc. Evion is just a vitamin E. Sometimes the doctor may add other anti-thyroid drugs or iodides. Just keep in touch with your doctor and follow his treatment regimen. Dont be scared, the symptoms take time to improve. Take care.
