Suggest BMI For Men & Woman

hello, I was on web md and got some information about bmi, but it states the bmi for a man. So I just want to know if bmi for a man is the same as for a woman ? meaning if the male and the female are the same built, height,weight and age, shoud they weigh the same?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
Standard weight for male is 60 kg and for female is 55 kg in India.
BMI means body mass index which is weight divided by height square in meters.
Normal BMI is 18 to 24.
BMI is stated same for male and female.
Waist hip ratio is best indicator for obesity in India.
