Suggest A Decongestant For Cold

Hi I'm on these medications and I have a nasty cold and am about to travel back from London to Phoenix. Which decongestant can I safely take with these meds? Armour thyroid, tirosint, Prozac, xarelto (only 10mg to prophylax against clots on long flights) cortef and nexium. Thank you.

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
1. You can take phenylephrine 5mg as decongestant for cold. This might do some dizziness, lack of energy & letharginess as well, so should preferably taken before sleep.
2.Take anti-histamines drugs like Benedryl/cetrizine, as most common cause of such cold is allergy.
3.Steam inhalation should be done 2-3 times a day.
