Good Day! I had a chest xray and the impression shown that i have a left hemidiaphragmatic tenting. I do not have any bad signs and symptoms. I am worried how did I get such impression like that on my Chest xray and what should be the remedy of this. Thank you.
Hi I understand your concern. Left Hemidiaphragmatic tenting means tented appearance of left hemidiaphragm which usually occurs in lobar collapse. In simple words, if any lobe of the lung loses it's volume & collapses due to any lung disease, then that side of diaphragm is retracted upwards forming a tented appearance. Thank you
