Suggest A Remedy For Itchy Lower Urethra
Hi, i am 27 and my urine report has trace protein,trace blood ,trace leucocyte, pus cells 16-18 and rest nil . I am suffering from itchy lower urinary tract, previously burning was there but after prescribed antibiotics it was gone, but itching still persists in the lower urethra. Blood report is normal,Culture report is sterile( pyuria),glucose regular, urea, creatinine,uric acid,alkaline phosphate,alt(sgpt) all within reference range and considered to be normal and no yeast found and bacteria found few. Please suggest me a remedy for itchy lower urethra.

As the culture report is sterile, the infection has been controlled and so the cause of itchy urethra must be residual inflammatory changes involving the mucosa of the urethra.
Following suggestions will help you to fix the issue better way
- maintain hydration
- urinary alkaliser as potassium citrate or else
- vitamin C containing citrus fruits
- vitamin E as antioxidant helps healing faster
- genital hygiene
- avoid sex (if active) till recovery
Be in regular follow up with your consultant till complete recovery.
