Suggest A Treatment For Ear Problem

Constant noises in my ear like its coming from some industrial work, steel cutting etc., or engine running with strange undertone like its coming from space from time to time. My GP said its old age but I insisted trying antibiotic eardrops, thought it could be infection picked up at public swimming pool, saying if it wont work then go on pills. Some some said it could be spiritual, I m 61, just wondering before trying pills. THank you for your time . lisa simone.

From your description it sound like you have tinnitus or ringing in the ears. This is caused from ear damage like from machinery or loud explosions. This is a permanent condition and very little helps. Medications will not help at all. Treatment would be adding white noise like music to distract your brain from the ringing.
