Suggest Alternate Medication For IV Rocephin Due To Side Effects
28 year old female with revision surgery of her back for scoliosis starts to develop 102-103 temperature one month later. She is opened back up and organism found is cultured and is Strep B. Now on IV Rocephin for additional 6 weeks. Patient is having difficulty with the medicine, would another be better. She is having attacks of profuse sweating, nausea, no appetite and weakness

cannot say in her particular case what is causing the symptoms. BUT if it were rocephin, a flouroquinolone and a drug for anaerobic germs such as metronidazole.
