Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Oxetol is Oxcarbazepine and the drug is an anti epileptic drug. The drug is safe to use but in some rare individuals the drug may cause rashes. These rashes should not be ignored and these might complicate to life threatening drug rashes. So the drug should be stopped. Other drugs similar to this are Carbamazepine but the risk of rashes is relatively more than Oxetol. Other drugs like Sodium Valproate or Topiramate can be used in place of Oxetol. Both of these drugs are safe to use and are free of serious drug reactions as side effects. Please talk to your doctor for prescription of either of these drugs.

Thanks, I hope this helps you. Take care
