Suggest Alternative For Prowel Drops For Diarrhea In An Infant
Hi, My daughter is 1 year old. She has cold and the motion frequency is 7 to 10 times in a day. I consulted my family doctor(child specialist) & she recomended prowel drops. I could not find drops anywhere in Gurgaon. I stay in bhiwadi, Rajasthan. I have reallocate d here from Delhi so no idea if I have any child specialist on bhiwadi or not? However my question is if I cannot find prowel drops then what is the best alternative medicine?
Prowel contains probiotic which is beneficial bacteria that prevents diarrhoea especially caused by antibiotics. Other alternatives include econorm or bifilac which contains probiotic. It is available as dry powder and should be mixed with water and used. These drugs are easily available in all pharmacies.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
