Suggest Alternative For Chemotherapy To Treat Ovarian Cancer
My mother just was told she has peritoneal cancer. They said it is also ovarian cancer. They are doing one last test tomorrow to see if it has spread to her liver. She is 85 years old and they want to start her on chemo. Can they just remove her ovaries and uterus and dismiss the chemo?

Surgery can be done only if the cancer is not spread (Metastasis). If it spread, chemo must be performed.
