Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Bystolic (nebivolol) belongs to a group of drugs called beta-blockers.

Better beta-blocker is Metoprolol as 2014 Evidence-Based Guideline for the Management of High Blood Pressure in Adults (JNC 8) does not recommend vasodilating β-blockers (eg, nebivolol) as there is no RCTs(randomised controlled trial) of good or fair quality with nebivolol.
