Suggest Alternative Remedy For Chondromalacia Patella
hi im diagnose with chondromalacia patella,my doc just giving me pain pills ang he jujst gave a cordosone shot that help a little but still have lot of pain going up and down , I request for specialist , I don t know what to do, getting tired of this pain I don t want taking pills all the time, what should I do?
as you have already met the ortho and on pills the pain relief will be symptomatic. Chondromalacia patella is a cause of pain in the front of the knee (anterior knee pain). Chondromalacia patella is one of the most common causes of chronic knee pain. Chondromalacia patella results from degeneration of cartilage due to poor alignment of the kneecap (patella) as it slides over the lower end of the thighbone (femur).
As now by this you can understand that there is a change in the kinetics and kinematics of the joint mobility leading to pain symptoms.
I will advice you to undergo physical therapy as it can help you correct the muscle contraction And also help to correct the biomechanics of the muscle and joint.
In my clinical practice most cases respond well to physical therapy.
