Suggest Alternative To Lialda For Ulcerative Colitis
I am a 65-year old female, 5 1 , about 123 lbs. I was prescribed Lialda a little over 2 years ago as a replacement drug for Amitiza after I developed bleeding ulcerative colitis (& at the same C-diff) which hospitalized me & resulted in blood transfusions. I have not had any flare ups in over a year. My 2/10/17 colonoscopy revealed ulcerative colitis in the rectum only. My insurance has changed from an employer insurance to Medicare. The Lialda is extremely expensive. Is there another drug/option? I didn t realize that I had to pay. Please ignore my question.

If the given medicine is expensive then you can go for generic molecules is it bit cheaper than the brand medicines otherwise, if you go on changing the brand it will make very little difference as long as the price is concerned.
