Suggest Alternatives To Diflucan And Clotrimazole For Yeast Infection

I ve had a yeast infection for a month and a half, and I cannot get rid of it. I ve done Diflucan 3 times, am using a clotrimazole cream, garlic oil pills, probiotics orally and vaginally, as well as coconut oil with oil oregano in and around the vagina. I also tried the Candida diet for a week. So far, no results, and I d prefer to not continue doing diflucan of possible. Is there anything else that should work? It s driving me crazy. I am on birth control, and I am wondering if I need to stop? (Although I wohld prefer not to as I am sexually active).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you may need to use other antifungal drugs and nystatin may be an option. Also, you may retake Diflucan for longer in order to get rid of it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
