Suggest An Alternate Medicine To Replace Sertraline

am now taking sertraline but it hurts my tummy i also take apraxolom that helps when i really feel nervous i like the alpraxolom but only take it when i am ina really really nervous. is there anything else i can take besides sertraline that would help me more?

Sertraline is an SSRI that has the highest chance of causing stomach upset. You can switch to another SSRI like paroxetine, citalopram or escitalopram that is more smooth on the stomach. Start with the lowest dose of the SSRI you choose and titrate up the dose as needed. However, you should keep in mind that you have to give atleast 6 weeks for the medication to start acting and provide symptom relief.
Please be advised to follow up with your treating physician for the necessary medication change.
