Suggest An Alternative To Remeron For Insomnia And Poor Appetite

I am on Remeron! It helps me sleep and gives me an appetite which are both are great because I have insomnia and poor appetite with weight loss when I wasn t on it! I just can t take the mental dulling and foggiest anymore! Any suggestions for a substitute. I also take 50 MSG of Zoloft and 100mgs of Wellbutrin a day. The Wellbutrin helps the Remeron side effects a bit! Thanks Ted

Hi
Welcome to health care magic.
You are on 3 antidepressant drugs which can cause all the side effects you are having currently.
I would suggest you to reduce the dose of Rameron by 25 % and cut down on the Zoloft by 50 % for one week and stop it by next week.
You can continue Wellbutrin at current doses and see if your floppiness and sleepiness improves.
It will also be a better idea to get evaluated by a local physician regarding your problem.
I hope the advice will be helpful for you.
