In the current situation, the best choice of contraception for you would be the IUD and the Mirena would perhaps suit better. You can as well go for permanent contraception through vasectomy or tubal ligation if you do not want any more children; vasectomy would be the better choice. To decide on the method best suited for your wife, she needs to see a specialist for a proper evaluation and after preliminary investigations, the appropriate device is given.
