Suggest Better Diet For Infant

Hi doctor, Our baby is 91 days old. We were giving Nestle Nan, however, started cow milk, adding double the quantity of water, though doctor was against it. Then since a month we started raggi. Presently he doesn't drink milk or raggi sometimes and keeps crying. He likes drinking water when added Kalkhand (dry sugar!). What else can we try to feed him.

Hi...until 6 months of age exclusive breast feeding is the best for the baby according to WHO (World Health Organization). Your doctor was right and adding double dilution of water is deleterious for the babies health. Ragi should not be give at this age of 3 months. Baby may not be able to digest it. As of now I suggest you give only direct breast feeds or Nan 1 for the baby.
