Suggest Better Medications For Chronic Anal Fissure

Hi, I have chronic anal fissure. I bleed heavily whenever my stools get very hard. Using daflon and rectogesic, it takes almost 2 weeks for me to heal. now i notice a small tag which has grown into a small growth near the anus. It pains a lot when the stools are hard. Is my fissure problem worsening? What is a permanent solution? do i need to get worries about this small growth?

hi. I have read your question and understand your concern.

anal fissures are caused by constipation so the for long term improvement of fissures you need to make lifestyle modifications in order to get rid of constipation.

the small growth you are talking about is a common occurrence in patients of fissures. you need not worry about it.

to improve your constipation so as to permanently improve your fissures I suggest you make the following changes in your lifestyle:

1. eat ample amount of salad.
2. drink at least 2 litres of water per day.
3. switch to whole grain products like whole wheat
breads. these have higher amount of fibre.
4. prefer vegetarian over non vegetarian food as
non vegetarian food is low in fibres.

even if after following all this your constipation is not relieved then you can take laxatives like cremaffin syrup.

I would like to tell you that this is a continuous process. there is no single permanent solution for fissures.

hope I have addressed all your queries. for any further information please get back to us. thanks.
