Suggest Cause For Bluish Toes With Pain

I ve had pain in my big toe for a few days now, I thought it was an ingrown toenail but I just took the toenail polish off and my toe is blueish in color under the nail on that side. I ve not bumped it, I did however go to an amusement park recently and I wore fairly tight shoes.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a vascular cause due to poor blood supply.

Consult a vascular surgeon and evaluated.

A Doppler scan is required for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
