Suggest Cure For A Viral Infection

My daugter has had a viral infection for 5 weeks now, she is nearly 4. Her symptons are runny noise, cough, temp, and sometimes a rash. We have seen a doctor 2 times but no treatment offered. She is having time off school at least 3 days a week and is up everynight coughing, she also has a history of frebile convoltions. What can i do

As per your complain as your daughter is diagnosed with viral infection and she also has febrile convulsions it is due to fever caused by severe infection in the body by bacteria or virus..
As no treatment is being offered by your current doctor you should consult an Infectious Medicine Specialist and get evaluated and a thorough clinica evaluation can help in confirming the diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now you can give her Acetaminophen or Tylenol for fever and also do cold sponges over forehead..
Give he ample of fluids and also steam inhalations and use a humidifier in her room..
Give her sufficient rest..
On ce the cause is confirmed the physician can advise her anti-viral medications for treating viral infection..
