Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
This morning, I ve had several very short episodes of dizziness - when stretching or turning in bed. They were severe enough to make me queasy - but only lasted a few seconds, then I felt normal. This has NEVER happened to me before and I m 46 years old. The only thing I can think of that is unusual for me recently is that I had ONE BITE of cereal where the milk was spoiled - last night around 8pm. I spit it out and didn t eat any more. Any chance there is a connection?
If the symptom of dizziness is for short period just for few second then it can be due to some nonspecific reason, posture could be the cause. But such symptom of dizziness must not happen again or may not be long last.
If this is so then it has to be looked for cerebral disease, cardiovascular disease, ear disease and others.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain,
General & Family Physician
