Suggest Cure For Skin Peeling Off The Soles Of The Feet

My 20 month old daughter has skin peeling off of soles of feet. Large areas with reddish skin underneath. Can t really tell if it is painful to her or not. Looks like it would be though. Hands are fine for now. Wondering what this could be and the causes.

Hi,

This might be from skin dryness, from acrodermatitis or rarely from exfoliation disorders. For the time being, try applying an emollient twice daily for 1 week. If no response, we can seek the help of a dermatologist for further evaluation.
