Suggest Cure For Sore Dry Throat And Runny Nose

Last week I had a sore dry throat ,runny nose ,body aches,sneezing,dry hacking cough, fever over 102,chills, sweats hot and cold, body aches, weakness, tiredness, sleepiness, sore ears, confusion, pale skin, very chapped lips and dry skin, what did I have?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore dry throat and runny nose which means you are suffering from Viral Infection. There might be a bacterial infection along with viral infection. I would suggest you to do salt Water gargles 4-5 times a day. You should take .Take anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen/acetaminophen along with oral decongestant like Pseudoephadrine for stuffy nose. Consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Apply petroleum jelly on lips. Take muscle relaxant to avoid tiredness and weakness of body. Take steam inhalation to prevent further exaggeration. Your symptoms will start resolving in 1 week. Take diet rich in vitamin C.
