As you have ask about diet and digestion care ,six months is the age when child learns to crawl and for some infants 
teething starts where they tend to put every thing in mouth  just to get rid of teething irritation.you have to keep an eye on the child.
First thing i would lIke to start with is hygeine .Infants are very sensitive  mild contamination, or infected food creates problem for them like 
diarrhoea and vomitings. 
second thing always use clean  boiled water or mineral water for the child.
Always serve the food in clean and washed utensils.
Regarding diet give the child easily digesting foods like rice porridges  or wheat porridge, vegetable soups, fresh fruit juice  or formulas like cerelac.
when ever your giving pulses  or meats it should be well cooked  to soft consistency. Never serve child with half cooked foods.
Always use pasteurized milk  or formula milk for the child.Make sure you sterilise the feeders daily as majority contamination comes from the feeders and nipples.
Last but note the least feed small quantities to the child which they can accept. Dont over feed the child which can create 
indigestion for them.
