Suggest Diet Plan And Medicine To Gain Weight

Hi Doctor, I am 27 years old, but still i am weighed only 51kgs. I have gone through a complete check up to see if there are any underline diseases. But, the result was fine. They informed that it's your food pattern you have to change to get on weight. I am 5"10 in height but body is so lean. Since childhood, i am like this. Regards, my food style, i don't normally take food in quantities. Little food will fill my stomache and if i eat a little more, then feels like vomiting. All my family members have a normal physique. Can you suggest me some tablets to put on weight...

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are medications that would stimulate the appetite and also protein supplements that may add muscle mass.

Since the use of large meals result in nausea, you may want to consider frequent high calorie meals.
This means that both your main meals and snacks would have to be high calorie.

Strength training may also help to add muscle mass but you may want to reduce aerobic exercises ,if you do these exercises, because they would either cause weight loss or prevent gain.

I hope this helps
