Do you have a children's clinic in your area where you could get food assistance and nutrition counseling like we do here in United States? Your child needs to take an oral multivitamin daily.

Your child also needs iodine, selenium for her thyroid deficiency.Also,he/she probably needs iron. Are you able to supplement her diet with a formula to assure she gets all of her essential amino acids and essential fatty acids? I do not know where you live or what is available to you and what your finances can afford. If I could know more information about you I could better assist you. If you are able to write back to me include the childs diet, appetite, supplements given now, what doctor says, and if you have access to a health clinic.

I suggest, in summary, give the child oral/liquid multivitamins, put your child on a liquid supplemental food such as what infants take but made for an older age, feed scrambled eggs with salt with iodine in it, if supplemental beverage cannot be found, make your own with some type of milk product, dump a packet of instant breakfast into it, a little vanilla, sterilized honey (at 2 she can now have this) and if you have a blender that is good if not, make by hand. You can even mix fresh or canned fruit in with the drink. Be creative. She also will need iron drops. Take iron with vitamin C foods such as fruit or fruit juice. That is our plan. If it doesn't work come back to me please with more information such as I requested earlier. My best wishes for you, your child and going forward.. Please come back to HCM for further questions. And, please work along with a pediatrician or clinic.
