Suggest Diet That Helps To Maintain Kidney Health

I need a list of food and drink that will help me maintain my kidney health. Most of my test results remain in fairly normal range, but my GFR is 39. I would like to maintain this level I have no other complicating factors. My blood pressure is low to normal, I am not diabetic, my cholesterol is perfect, I am not over weight and I exercise regularly. The only problem is one of my kidneys is atrophied and scarred even though I have no UTI history. I have had 4 kidney stone attacks, but are under control now. I cannot pay......Medicare is my only insurance.

Hello. Is there protein in your urine? You need protein restriction of about 0.8 mg/kg/d. Sodium restriction helps too. Apart from that the need for medications for cholesterol reduction thus ensuring cardiac protection is required. Take aspirin as well. Use kidney protective medications like perindopril/valsartan. Regards.
