Welcome to HCM,

Kindly provide more information so we can provide a more detailed answer.

I am thinking about things such as constipation, amount of fiber and fluids in diet, is the pain ongoing sporadically or just ongoing 24 hours a day not in relation to meals, activity, medications or any other identifiable factors?

Chronic medical conditions?Any gastrointestinal issues or past diet orders?Do certain foods or situations bother the pain more?

Does manual massage of the abdomen relieve any discomfort? What about heat?

Please try to give us a little more insight into the situation so that we may provide a useful answer to this problem.Healthy Regards, Kathy Shattler, MS,RDN
