Suggest Diet To Lower Creatinine

what are the foods that my dad can eat to lower down his creatinine? he's creatinine is 9.0 and he needs to have a low level of creatinine because he will undergo a procedure that requires a low level of creatinine. my dad is 64 years old, 5'6" in height, and i think he weighs 140 lbs approximately. he has diabetes for more than 30 years now and he is undergoing dialysis twice every week. he had been amputated (R) leg for almost 5 years now

Hello and thank you for visiting me at one of my virtual clinics. Here are some general suggestions to get started with:
1) lower sodium 2) lower protein and switch what protein you can to a vegetarian based source; 3) avoid phosphorous rich foods such as colas, pumpkin, bananas, cheese, fish, pork;4)limit high potassium foods (bananas, potato. . .)5)drink 6-8 glasses of pure fluid per day6)switch from high activity to things like yoga or tai chi There are supplements to take as well, but I will not recommend them on a public forum to someone I haven't thoroughly assessed. This should get your started and good health to you and your dad. Please come back and put my name in the beginning of the query if you would like clarification or go to my virtual clinic here by visiting the specialist portal.
