General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be a simple superficial fungal infection. As a first line management, you can apply topical antibiotics like Mupirocin for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
