Suggest Dosage For Duphaston

hi..my name is winnie..I had fibroid cyst and endotrimiosis..now I m using Duphaston.Im not sure if I m taking it the right way..I take it on my first day of period..on the 12th day I skipped my pills..the next day I m on my period again..its was heavy and painful..please give advise what is the right time to start taking it..at the box is written to take 1 tablet 2 times a day x 21 days of cycle x cycle.I don t understand the instruction...

Hi Winnie, I really appreciate your concern about the situation. The recommended doaage of Dupastone for endometriosis is 10 mg two to three times daily from day 5 to 25 of the cycle, or continuously. I strongly recommend you to start it only after a consulting a Gynecologist.
Also, If a dose has been forgotten, it should be taken as soon as possible. When more than 12 hours have elapsed, it is recommended to continue with the next dose without taking the forgotten tablet. The likelihood of breakthrough bleeding or spotting may be increased.
