Suggest Dosage For Prolia

I am taking Prolia injection ihave had only one injection and after taking it I have put on about 10lbs. my normally run around i42 now within the few months after taking polia it haa increased my food intake is the same I don t want to keep gaining is this drug causing my weigh gain. or what can I do?

It is important to see why are you taking this drug as dosage varies accordingly. PROLIA is actually DENOSUMAB which is MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY, BONE-MODIFYING AGENT.
Its side effects are more like decreased appetite and diarrhea, weakness and muscle aches etc. Rarely have I seen a patient on PROLIA having weight gain as an issue. I suggest you to refer back to your Physician for the real cause of the weight gain. You can also consult an ENDOCRINOLOGIST for the same as to see what to do ahead if this is a metabolic issue.

Remain physically active and keep a check on diet intake.
