Suggest Dosage Of Ibugestic Plus To Be Given To A Child For High Fever And Cough

my 7 yr old daughter has a high fever ans cold and cough. i have been giving 7.5 ml calpol (every 5 ml contains 120 mg paracetamol) to her every 4 hrs and it has not been effective. i am thnking of giving her ibugesic plus before i take her to doctor. what should be the dosage pls

ibugesic plus every 5 ml contains
ibuprufen 100mg
paracetamol 163.5 mg

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain in case if your child has cold and cough along with high fever and Tylenol is not working you need to get her evaluated for the cause of infection and a blood investigation can be diagnostic..

As of now you can give her Ibugesic plus 5ml but along with it you should also give her Tylenol as Tylenol is more efficient in reducing fever..
You can also give her cold sponges on the forehead and body extremities for reducing body temperature..
Give her plenty of fluids..
Give her a soft diet and plenty of rest..
The physician can advise a course of antibiotics along with tylenol and acetaminophen for relieving symptoms..
