Suggest Dosage Of YLO Tablets For Constipation And Does It Have Any Side Effects?

somebody advised me to take 2 tabs of YLO tabs for constipation. I later realized that it contains phenopthalein 1x, and phenopthalien is being withdrawn from medical counters the world over for its carcinogenic affects. Please suggest as it should be taken, if yes then at what frequency.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Adults are advised to take 2-3 tablets at bed time and children are required to take half of the adult dose. It has the ingredients that you have mentioned and there are no strong evidence thant phenophtaliesn is carcinigenic substance. However it cant ruled out for 100% as well so it will be up to you if you re gonna take it or not. Side effects include headache, nausea and fatigue but this isgenrally rarely reported.
