Suggest Dosage Of Mucolite For Treating Cough

Hi Doctor,

My 3 year old son has been having cough for the past 3-4 days. I took him to doctor and he diagnosed it as mild lower respiratory infection. He was prescribed a few medications - one of these was mucolite. I somehow forgot ask the dosage for the same. Could you help? He is 11.5 kgs, 3.1 years old.

Mucolyte (Ambroxol) syrup contains 30 mg/5 ml, the dose is 30 mg 3 times daily for children and Mucolte drops 7.5 mg/ml ,the dose is 3.75 -7.5 mg 2 times daily for infants.
