Suggest For Loose Stools With Black Dots On Them

I just got over a bought of diverticulitis after being prescribed augmenten and taking a probiotic. I have been having loose stools with hundreds of black dots about the size of a sharpie tip dotted on a piece of paper. These dots are all floating on top go the water. I have no pain or fever.

Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
The cause of the hundreds of black spots/dots is obviously the bleeding that must must have been slow but steady giving this appearance to the stool.
This bleeding must be coming from the part where diverticulitis is present as due to inflammation and may be due to Augmentin it is getting better hence small blood persistent loss.
I would advise:
Get the stool tested .
CT scan abdomen to follow up the healing of diverticulitis
Continue Augmentin and Probiotic
