Suggest Home Remedy For Child Suffering From Fever And Tonsils Problem

Hello, I have a daughter she is 3years old and is 12kgs approx. She is suffering from tonsils n fever due to that. Please advice. What medicine should be given and also if there are any home remedies. I would appreciate if you can help me with what all precautions should to taken. Thank you. Rishika Pandit.

Thanks for the query.
For tonsillitis you can try following home remedies-
Gargling with warm salt water several times a day.
Drinking warm liquids, soups.
Getting plenty of rest.
Throat sprays and lozenges: these can coat and moisturize the throat, and many have a topical anesthetic to relieve pain.
For fever-
Lowering your room's tempreture, cold sponging, thin layered cloths, tulsi leaves tea.

If that does not work then you maight have to take paracetamol for fever.
Antibiotics like azithromycin, amoxycillin can be prescribed by your doctor if there is bacterial infection.
